At first glance, natural stone surfaces look dense and robust. However, it contains pores and capillaries, which can allow dirt to penetrate the surface.
A protective treatment like Lithofin MN Stain-Stop (or Lithofin STAIN STOP) makes the surface resistant to oil, grease and waterborne dirt. Dirt no longer penetrates the stone and is therefore simple to remove.
The protective treatment in combination with the right kitchen worktop maintenance will prevent staining. We recommend Lithofin MN Easy-Clean for daily cleaning.
The limescale has deeply penetrated the stone, causing damage to the surface polish. Unfortunately, removing these deposits without causing further harm is not feasible. However, the surface can be improved to minimise the visibility of the unsightly stains. Use a white pad and Lithofin MN Power-Clean to mechanically remove the surface deposit, although a shadow or dull spot may persist. Protect the surface by applying Lithofin MN Stain-Stop and regularly using Lithofin MN Polish Cream to maintain its appearance.
